For a complete description of the Programme, please visit: http://www.ibo.org/diploma/

The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging programme of pre university education to satisfy the needs of highly motivated secondary students, aged 16 to 19. The programme is of two years’ duration and its broad curriculum prepares students to meet the requisites of educational systems from different countries.  It is not based on one particular model, but rather integrates the best elements of many models.  The Programme may be followed in English, French or Spanish.
The curriculum is presented in the form of a hexagon with the six academic areas in the centre. Subjects are studied simultaneously and students have the opportunity to access the two great traditional areas of knowledge, the Humanities and the Sciences.
